The BZS-8050 Editing Control Software, BZS-8051 Advanced Editing Control Software, together with MKS-8050 and MKS-2050 Editing Keyboards add powerful editing capabilities to the Sony MVS-8000A, DVS-9000, and MFS-2000 Series production switcher systems.
Direct Key for Source Selection
The new Editing Keyboards are equipped with dedicated keys to directly control timelines of the switcher and associated DME channels. They are also equipped with dedicated keys for control of Frame Memory and Colour Background generators so that they can be controlled as easily as R1, P1 and P2. This allows for more efficient operation by minimising the time spent selecting keyframes through sub menus.
Device Control Capability
Thanks to integration with the switcher device controller, all connected devices (VTR, DDR etc.) can be controlled directly via the plug-in editor. The file list of a Digital Disk Recorder (DDR) can also be displayed and files can be directly selected for playback. Both the Video Disk Communication Protocol (VDCP), a popular protocol for video servers, and the Sony Disk Protocol are supported.
