SSC-N20

Indoor minidome analogue camera with high resolution (540 horizontal TV lines) and a wide area of scan

The SSC-N20 high resolution analogue minidome camera delivers superbly reliable indoor surveillance performance. It offers high quality images through its generous 540 TV lines horizontal resolution and its high sensitivity of 0.15 lx (F1.2, 50 IRE, Colour), achieved by a 1/3-type "Super HAD CCD II" sensor and Sony's new digital signal processor, "Effio-E".

From its compact body, the SSC-N20 can scan a wide area with its three-way hinge and 3.7x variable focal length, offering a horizontal angle of view of 99.5" to 27.4".

The camera utilises a range of technologies to adjust the images to their maximum clarity and usability: Automatic Tone Reproduction Lite (ATR-Lite) compensates for gradation of subjects to an optimum level

  • Quality images with high resolution and sensitivity

Enjoy clearer, sharper images with the SSC-N20's high resolution of 540 TV lines and high sensitivity of 0.15 lx (F1.2, 50 IRE, Colour), achieved by a 1/3-type "Super HAD CCD II" sensor and Sony's new digital signal processor, "Effio-E".

  • A wide variety of viewing angle possibilities and adjustments

The SSC-N20's 3.7x variable focal lens, with a focal length of 2.8mm to 10.5mm, makes the camera suitable for many types of installations, including those with high ceilings. Its new three-way hinge – with horizontal, vertical and swivel rotation – offers great flexibility, allowing the camera to be installed on vertical as well as horizontal surfaces.

  • Latest Sony image enhancement technologies

The SSC-N20 features ATR-Lite (Automatic Tone Reproduction Lite) to compensate for gradation of subjects to an optimum level, iBLC (i-Back Light Compensation) to compensate for exposure levels in dark scenes to improve subject visibility, and ATW (Automatic Tracing White) balance which automatically adjusts the camera's white balance to adapt to sudden changes in lighting conditions.

  • Electronic Day/Night function

Get the best quality image no matter the time of day or night. The Day/Night function automatically switches between Day (colour) and Night (black and white) modes, depending on the light level.

  • Economical low power consumption

The SSC-N20 also offers low power consumption – a maximum of 1.5 W – to minimize operational overheads and carbon footprint.
